Stewardship Snippet–March 29, 2020 —Romans 8:6 – To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. Sometimes stewarding the soul is as simple as “setting your mind the Spirit,” leaning into our faith and taking steps toward life and peace.

Current Needs of the State College Food Bank as of March 18–Jelly, Canned Fruit, Peanut Butter, Canned Meat, Rice (1-2 pound bags), Cereal, Spaghetti (specifically the flat one pound packages), Canned Spaghetti Sauce (canned/plastic preferred to glass jars), 100% Juice (64 oz), Flour (2-5 pound bags), Vegetable Oil, Coffee – Regular & Decaf, Black Tea, Hot Cocoa. *During this time of cautionary measures, gift cards or cash is the best way to give to help purchase these items.
Even though our building is closed for worship and other events for at least the month of March, the financial obligations the church faces continue without pause. Our staff continues to do its work, and we continue to pay them. Other expenses continue. Thus, we are asking you to consider sending your weekly offerings for March to the church. You may send checks, preferably in your offering envelopes to: St. Paul Lutheran Church, 277 West Pine Grove Road, Pine Grove Mills, PA. 16868. You may also give online by going to: https://tithe.ly/give_new/www/#/tithely/give-one-time/387358 .
Our church building may be locked down due to the virus but our people are here ready to help in any way we can. Please let Pastor Paul, the church office, or any member of the congregation know. We are all in this together.
