Allegheny Synod Year of Prayer – May, 2018     SEMINARIANS–“I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.”—Ephesians 4:1-6.   We pray for those who are in the Candidacy process both here in this Synod and throughout this Church. We pray for wisdom in discernment for seminarians as they consider calls, prepare for internship, complete classes, and balance their lives with family.   We pray for those who are discerning a call to rostered ministry that they may know the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.   Is the Holy Spirit calling you to consider rostered ministry?
