*Reminder that Sunday, September 8 is the beginning of children’s Sunday school beginning at 9:30 AM for all children ages K-thru 6 grade. Sunday school is open to all children in the community. Volunteer teachers are needed to help teach on a rotating basis.  Please contact Pastor Paul or Linda Muthler.

*WELCA will be meeting September 8 following worship to plan for the year. Lunch provided. If you want to help provide a dish to share for the luncheon, please contact Sally Kolesar.

*Fellowship Sunday, September 15 and everyone is invited to bring a dish to share.

*God’s Work. Our Hands — A Nittany Conference EventSunday, September 15 — 2:30 PMOaks in Pleasant Gap    On September 15, at 2:30 PM, we will be participating in our annual day of service. This year we will be participating with other Lutheran churches in our area. We will be doing some service work at The Oaks in Pleasant Gap. There will be activities for kids and adults. In addition to having some yard work and landscaping, there will be activities inside for those who cannot work outdoors.  If you are interested and would like to have a T-shirt for the event, please tell me your shirt size. *Congregational Council meets Tuesday, September 17 at 7:00 PM in the conference room. all congregational members are welcome to attend at any time.

*Blessing of Animals; Sunday, October 6

Special Congregational Meeting: The St. Paul Congregational Council has set up a special meeting with the congregation for Sunday, October 20 immediately following the worship service. The purpose is to approve the new St. Paul constitution. Copies of the changes will be available in September.

*October 20 is Fellowship Sunday will immediately follow the special congregational meeting. Everyone is invited to bring a dish to share. During the meal, Ryan Ebner, the ELCA Gift Planner for our region will present Estate Planning.
