Parents, each week we’ll send home a Family Page for you to explore that week’s Bible story together as a family. Lutheran Fall Festival, Saturday, September 22, 2018, Legion Park in Hollidaysburg. Includes vendors, food, music, and outdoor worship. Festival from 3:00 – 6:00 PM. The festival is free, dinner tickets are $10.00. The meal is at 5:00 PM and worship at 6:30 PM. Tickets can be ordered by contacting the Synod Office email@example.com. Payment is due when placing orders.
Harvest Fest, Saturday, October 6 at St. Paul Lutheran Church parking lot. Time is 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. St. Paul is to provide hospitality for the vendors and workers. Watch for a signup sheet for a listing of needs.
Stewardship Moment: John 6:68 — Simon Peter answered Jesus, “Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life.” We hear so many voices in our culture luring us to follow by promising us prosperity, power, fun, escape, prestige, etc. But steward disciples know that only Jesus has the words of true life, eternal life. We listen only for Jesus’ words.
